a-MAZE-ing LOST!

Hey everyone, I’m The Girl behind the Red Door. If you’re fans of a certain show, I’m sure you know what this line means.

The season finale of LOST was shown a few months back and since I’ve watched it, I’ve wanted to write about it for quite some time. Truthfully, LOST has been getting better and better since the dismal ratings the show received in season two. Season six was amazing in every sense of the word. Instead of watching it week by week, I did a marathon watching the entire season and boy, was it fun. Doing it this way, made the story hundred times more exciting and better. Each episode left me gasping for something new.

There were quite a few pivotal moments in the last season and one of it is the scene where Sun was trapped in the submarine and Jin forego his life to be with his wife. The scene when the water finally filled the sub and Sun and Jin let go of their clasping hands was heart wrenching yet sweet. It just shows how much love this couple had for each other. The saddest part is they died just a few hours after reuniting once again.

Another scene that got to me is when Jack sacrificed himself for the betterment of his friends. The scene when Kate realizes what Jack is going to do and pleaded for him to come back safely knowing there was no way he could get out of there alive tugged at my heartstrings. The kiss they shared was epic and finally showed how much Kate has always loved Jack. The end at the island when Jack closed his eyes surrounded by Vincent, the dog and the bamboo plants is a symmetry to the pilot in which we see a close-up of Jack’s eye before seeing him surrounded by the bamboo plants. I had tears in my eyes when Jack closed his eyes after seeing the Ajira Airways flying overhead knowing his friends had left the island safely as he was left to die alone.

The best part about this season is the flash sideways. I love the parallel world in which the plane made it safely to LAX and that no matter what; all the characters were connected to one another. The realisation when each characters realizes the memories they shared with their loved ones was momentous and it was fitting that Jack was the last one to remember since he was always their leader. I loved it when all the characters in the flash forward met again in the church and the hugs that went around when everyone finally met up once again. I like it that they all left the place in between before embarking on their next destination i.e. heaven. Another fact that had me smiling was we got to see Boone (Ian Somerhalder) once again.

With LOST gone, I hope to find new shows to leave the void LOST left behind. It was one of the most thought-provoking shows ever and it made us questioned everything. To LOST, thanks for the wonderful memories and long live Jate!!!

Ahh, finally the new poster for season 6 of Bones.
Well, in the premiere episode of the season titled "The Mastodon in the Room", we will find out that Booth has a new girlfriend. Her name is Ashley, a war corespondent which he met in Afghanistan played by Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick.

Robin Sparkles is back again!
We will see the third chapter in this popstar's trilogy with the help of Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger. She will play Jessica Glitter, Robin’s former BFF during her pop star glory days, and co-star of the Canadian talk show that also featured Alan Thicke. The episode will be titled "Glitter" and it will be a prequel to both ‘Let’s Go to the Mall‘ and ‘Sandcastles in the Sand.’

Meanwhile, let's see Robin Sparkles in action. The first song, Let's go to the Mall and Sandcastles in the Sand.




Also, in the sixth season of HIMYM, there will be a wedding.
However, we do not know who will be getting married.
Though, we do know that Rachel Bilson will be back playing Cindy, a college roommate of Ted's wife, Mrs Mosby, the mother in the story.
Maybe, Ted will finally meet her here? Or is it Ted's wedding?

Blair: She will have a new rival this season.Someone she has known before. Blair will try to establish herself when she transfers to Columbia University, but she find obstacles in her way. She makes a bid to be Queen Bee and encounters one of her minion from Constance.

Chuck: Chuck is alive but has a cane. Lily is ready to forgive Chuck for what happened with Jenny. But not Rufus. He will find it difficult to move past it. He will also find out from Eric on a Season 1 incident involving Jenny and Chuck. He also has Clemence Poesy playing Eva, someone he got to know in Paris. That will surely throw a wrench in Chair's relationship.

Nate: He will have a love interest from Columbia, Juliet played by Katie Cassidy.

Serena: She might be playing the field with an older man, played by Sam Page. He's an older guy with responsibilities and may not have the patience for Serena's antics.

Dan: He has a lot of things to focus with a baby on board. No Serena in sight. As for Vanessa, well, she might be moving in with him. What about Georgina?

wisteria's new sheriff

Vanessa Williams, from Ugly Betty has moved onto another gig, Desperate Housewives.
This new promo poster suggests that there's a new sheriff in Wisteria Lane.
She's Renee Perry, the newest neighbour on the lane.
Reggie Austin will play Vanessa's husband, Doug, on the show.
It has already been confirmed that Renee will battle with Bree for the affections of a handyman portrayed by Brian Austin Green.
So it seems Renee and Doug will not be having the happiest marriage on tv.

There's also other questions to be answered.

Wow, this is the promo poster for the new season of House. House's chest is ripped open and surgeons are attempting to fix him up. The tagline reads "Love/Sick". I'm guessing Dr Gregory House's heart lies in Cuddy's hands... Whaddya think?

I have some Glee scoop to tie us over until the premier on Sept 21st.

1. Tina will fall out of love with Artie and start falling in love with Mike Chang. I know, poor Artie!
2. Also, John Stamos who plays Uncle Jesse in Full House will be a love interest for Emma, who is a dentist. Their love for all things clean are a match made indeed!
3. There will be a Britney Spears episode titled Britney/ Brittany. This episode will focus on the cheerleader character Brittany. I'm guessing this is where she makes her voice debut :) The episode will consist of six songs and Mr Schuester will refuse to do Britney songs, mirroring the real life objection of Matthew Morrison.
4. The writers are toying around with the idea of Brittany and Santana as a couple. I think if this happens, we knew it was coming.. there were few hints in the last season.
5. We will get glimpses of the New Directions lives outside of school. More on their home front. Ryan Murphy has pointed out that it will be interesting to meet Rachel's two gay dads, Artie's mother and maybe Brittany's really smart older sister.
6. Season 2 will focus more on the characters, there will be less musical numbers. Average numbers would be about five as opposed to last season's eight.

• David Anders who plays Uncle John will be back for at least one episode of season 2.
• There will be some role switcheroo between the Salvatore brothers. Damon will become gentle whereas Stefan gets a little more evil.
• Be prepared for more wicked and sinister action from Katherine.
• We find out that Katherine wants Stefan and she came back for him.
• According to the press release, "next season, the appearance of the villainous Katherine in Mystic Falls throws a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls must choose sides as they fall victim to a new breed of danger. New and unexpected friendships will be forged, allies will become enemies, and hearts will be broken. Stefan and Damon will be forced to face a villain more evil and diabolical than they ever believed possible. And they'll take their shirts off. Frequently."
• It looks like the second season of TVD is probably gonna live up to season one standards. More sexy scenes for the fans and plenty of love triangle, or is it a love square with Katherine thrown into the mix?

who the hell is A?

OMG, i simply cannot wait til January!!

The mid season finale was full with questions and only some were answered. And that last 15 minutes got my heart racing and kept me at the edge of my seat.

How is Hanna? What about Toby? And who the hell is A?!

The series may have started out a tad rocky, but I think it picked up its pace and grew out its kinks and gave us a mind blowing mid-season finale.

Hellcats: This tv series revolves around Marti (Alyson Michalka), a pre-law college student from the wrong side of the tracks. When budget cutbacks and her mother's constant carelessness cause her to lose her scholarship, she joins the Hellcats, the college's competitive cheerleading team run by Savannah (Ashley Tisdale).

Juice Factor: It's kinda like a series based on the movie Bring It On. We get to see the hellish world of college cheerleading. The show is based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by Kate Torgovnick. Plus, this show has Tom Welling, aka Clark Kent in Smallville as the executive producer.. interesting no?

Nikita: It's based on the 1997 tv series La Femme Nikita, remember it? I knew I did, though a little fuzzy..hehe. Anyway, the new return stars Maggie Q as Nikita, a spy and assassin who has gone rogue. She is now working to bring down Division, the secret government agency which recruited her. Meanwhile, Division trains its next crop of young killers. Lyndsy Fonseca, Melinda Clarke and Shane West (yum!) also stars.

Juice Factor: I'm excited for this series. The fact is I think it will replace my love for Alias, i mean we need another female who can kick butt since Buffy and Sydney! Also, I think it has the potential for a really fun and engaging action series.
